El Capricho de Eiffel: Paris on the Costa Tropical

Second fortnight of August: very reluctantly we are already rushing the last weeks of summer, but we are still in time to recommend you a plan to enjoy a few more days of warmth and beach: a visit to the town of Motril.

Located about 45 minutes by car from Granada, the capital of the Tropical Coast of Granada welcomes visitors with a sensational subtropical climate, characterized by more than 300 days of sunshine a year, which allows you to enjoy the most of the different beaches in the area. However, its attractions do not end there, offering multiple alternatives for tourism and leisure: a large number of religious buildings and buildings of historical interest, golf courses, sugar museums or the incredible landscapes that make up the fields of cultivation of native fruits such as cherimoya.

In fact, the gastronomic offer is another of the main attractions of the region, and although it is usually based on products of marine origin, today we are pleased to introduce you to a restaurant that stands out from this majority trend: El Capricho de Eiffel .

Located in the center of the town, and only five minutes away from the main beaches of Motril, El Capricho de Eiffel focuses its offer on meats, but not just any meat: its specialty is matured meats, cooked with a very special care and at a temperature of 300º. And always on holm oak charcoal. The love that his team professes to these products of animal origin is perceived when discovering his spectacular refrigerated showcase and maturation chamber, the biggest in Spain.

Given the passion they apply in everything they do, we could not fail to thank its owner, Fermín Peñalver, for having trusted in our experience for a challenge as big as this, of which we are enormously proud and in which we hope to have transferred the same passion they pour into the stoves and grills.
