Tip #1: Decorating the terrace.

Our terrace must have its own personality, we want people to fall in love with it, for this a fundamental aspect is the decoration.

It is more attractive a place with an original design, where the furniture is not the typical one that you find again and again everywhere. Comfortable chairs, armchairs or poufs will make your terrace a more desirable place, where consumers will be more comfortable and therefore, your average ticket will go up.

Following the line of comfort, although our consumers are encouraged by the heat to go out, they don’t want to get burned or even overwhelmed. Having a terrace at 40°C and under the sun is usually not a very good idea.

Therefore, we would like to point out some aspects to take into account when it comes to air conditioning your terraces. If it is too hot, some good fans or even some water diffusers can be very useful, but be careful with the water! it is not going to soak people or become a nuisance.

Finally, the other aspect we want to highlight is the sun, a lot of sun and direct sun can make people uncomfortable, so it is important to be prepared. Awnings, umbrellas, pergolas or even the decoration of the terrace itself can be useful.

Tip #3: Terrace lighting.

Our lighting should depend on the atmosphere we want to convey to our customers. If we want a more relaxed atmosphere for example, we will use warm lights, with soft tone, LED lights and energy saving bulbs are usually the most chosen option.

Tip nº4: Ambient music.

Music is a fundamental aspect, it acts as a stimulus for the different social interactions, complementing the atmosphere we want to create. Be careful with the volume, too much can make customers uncomfortable.

Finally, as a suggestion, live music is always very useful, it is easily adaptable and very attractive, it will fill your terrace with life!

Tip #5: Coordination of personnel.

When we include a terrace the work increases exponentially and it is easy for the service to be neglected, generating discomfort and discomfort among customers. So that this does not happen to you, you must be foresighted with the demand and above all, have a very good internal organization.
