Surprise everyone with the sweetest recipes for All Saints’ Day

The art of gastronomy allows tradition and the avant-garde to join hands to create dishes as tasty as surprising to celebrate dates like Halloween or All Saints’ Day. In fact, the most characteristic symbol of Halloween is the pumpkin, a food with multiple possibilities that we have already talked about in previous posts.

And since we are going to innovate with tradition as a reference, we are going to talk about 4 recipes for All Saints’ Day, to condense in the dishes many typical flavors of the autumn season in which we are.

Wind fritters. They can be light as the name suggests, or a little ‘heavier’, as in the recipe we propose here. Because there are many desserts that can be improved with a touch of chocolate and fritters fall into that category. At Yelow we can help you with the whole process, from offering you the best frying pans on the market, to the utensils to fill the fritter, to the plates with which to present the fritters in the most original way.

Saint Bones. It is one of the most typical recipes of these dates and very traditional, although we can introduce some new ingredients and thus innovate. The main difficulty of this dish lies in the elaboration of the marzipan, which although it is not complicated to make, it does require patience to get everything just right. If in all recipes it is essential to find the right touch, it is even more important in those where the sweet is involved, because overdoing it with one of the ingredients can make it not work.

And for a good marzipan, nothing better than a state-of-the-art mixer. With it you will be able to give the right touch to the mixture of ingredients, and even grind the food you need so that the texture is the most suitable. Because the secret of the recipes is also in the utensils we use, and we know a lot about that in Yelow.

Pestiños. Although pestiños can be enjoyed all year round, now that the cold weather is starting, the pestiño is a great ally for breakfast, snack or dessert. A typical sweet of Andalusia but that conquers the palate of those who try it, both the syrupy and the sweetened variety. A classic with which to triumph always and if we give it an innovative touch with a tray of groundbreaking design, then all the better.

Panellets. Although it is a typical product of Catalonia, Valencia and the Balearic Islands, it is beginning to be seen in confectioneries throughout Spain thanks to its flavor. One of the essential ingredients is the potato or sweet potato, a seasonal food with which to enjoy in many recipes and with which to give a very special flavor to your dishes.

In this recipe they explain how to make them at home and give you several options to make them with the ingredients you consider best. Of course, the ideal is to prepare this dish with the help of a food processor like the ones we have in Yelow so that all the ingredients are mixed in the best harmony.
